I kissed the moon goodbye tonight while lonely stars they tried to hide, but in their shame they still shone bright. When far below the atmosphere, you never though I'd find you dear, underestimating my desire. To make the plans for a simple man who wants to know the meaning of his life. If you need a hand please understand that I've got all you need in mine. I wanna know you, I wanna hold your world in place, be the one that you want to chase. I wanna know you, make the whole world go away, be the one that you want to need. I set a course for you today, one you alone will have to take as everybody walks away. And if you wake without a clue, don't trust that fear inside of you, it only leads into mistakes. And you've made a few and I know that you have seen the damage that i has made. But the starry sky, it shows how I still hold everything in place. I wanna know you, I wanna hold your world in place, be the one that you want to chase. I wanna know, make the whole world go away, be the one that you want to need.

Dark Outside 04:24
It's dark outside, but you must go to work. And the warmth you made gets left behind to keep her sound asleep. The alarm goes off, she knows you hate its ring, but her mind is fast to find a way to join it to a dream. She's in a different city, flying care-free over Sydney, you're wishing for some pity, all those plates you've been spinning, but after all someone's gotta pay the bills. Always drink it black, why waste the room for cream? You smoke a pack then make a vow to never smoke again. She wants a man she knows will buy a ring, so go break your back to make the life she's living in her dreams. It's a house in the country, green fields and sunny, always call her honey, spending all your money, but for you it means another day at work. Do you do it because you love her? Do you do it out of love? She is sleeping under your covers, do you do it 'cuz you want a love that dreams? She wakes up, your day is almost done, stretching out to find that she can't touch the one she loves. Life was better when she didn't have to sleep, now it only serves as a hideaway for failed attempts to leave. She's off with the breezes, a hand that wants to squeeze hers, laughing for no reason, and a man that doesn't leave when she asks, 'hon', are you still in love with me?' Do you do it because you love her? Do you do it out of love? She is sleeping under your covers, but all she wants is the cover of your love. The cover of your love.

Be Here 05:27
I don't need you to say anything. I don't want you to find the right words. If silence is all you can give me. It may be what I'm needing most. When conversation is nothing but words, and I'm trying to show you my real heart, well if silence is all you can give me. It may be what I'm needing most. To know that there's love, and there's hope secured. For all the wanderers, I'm such a prodigal. I think I'm going home. But will you Be right here, be right here for me? When everything's unclear, and the world keeps pulling me down, down, down. I'm going down, down, down. I think the same things all over again, I'm hoping this time it won't slip through my hands, and I remember the first time we met, and I recall every word that was said. It starts with hello, it's sure cold outside. Where has all the time gone? It's been too long. I thought you'd Be right here, be right here for me? When everything's unclear, and the world keeps pulling me down, down, down. I'm going down, down, down.

Rubbish 04:01
Discarded piece of trash I feel I've been used up and now you're through and all that's left is skin and bone. I wander 'round in search of home. I don't mean to exaggerate, but how could one withstand such weight of grief that drowns and suffocates, I hope hope comes 'fore it's too late. Where do I go from here? And who am I without me? Are you the one who made this mess, or is it me? I must confess I'm not quite sure I can forgive, the scars you left keep memories fresh. Where do I go from here? And who am I without me? Did you ever love me? Was that the best that you could do? Did you ever love me?

Keep it simple, don't over-think it, less is more, more or less, most of the time. You're always pacing, that mind's gone racing, preoccupied and too numb to realize that Life is beautiful, life is beautiful. Life is beautiful, life is beautiful. The world's a stage and, it's just an act you play in, you can't change your role, but you can choose your lines. This could be romance, getting lost in sunsets, say the words "I love you," and help me recognize Life is beautiful, life is beautiful. Life is beautiful, life is beautiful. Get away from the dreaded compromise, your mistake is not living while you're alive. Life is beautiful, life is beautiful. Life is beautiful, life is beautiful.
